How much does a reefer container cost?

Used working 20ft reefers start at $9,400. Used 40ft high-cube reefers from $12,800. Non-operating (NOR) units used for insulated storage start much lower - request a quote.

Can a reefer container run on regular power?

No - reefers require 3-phase 380-460V industrial power. For sites without 3-phase, we supply diesel generator packages sized to the unit.

What's the difference between a reefer and an insulated container?

A reefer has an integrated refrigeration unit and runs on grid or genset power. An insulated container has the insulation and stainless interior but no active cooling - suited for ambient-controlled storage.
