For decades, buying a shipping container meant faxed quotes, opaque grading and weeks of back-and-forth. We built Vanta to change that: a live marketplace of inspected, certified units backed by an owned depot network - so any buyer, in any market, can price a lane and place an order in minutes.

What began as a single depot in California has grown into a global operation with warehouses in Marseille, Piraeus and Perth. Through every shipping cycle and market shift, our commitment has remained the same: deliver the right container, at the right price, to anywhere in the world.

How much does a shipping container cost?

Pricing depends on size, condition, and depot. Used cargo-worthy 20ft units start around $2,400 / €2,208, while one-trip 40ft high-cube containers typically run $5,800 / €5,336. Reefer and specialised units are quoted individually. Every listing on our marketplace shows a live price in USD with an EUR equivalent at the current reference rate.

Do you show prices in both dollars and euros?

Yes. All published prices on the site are shown in USD with the EUR equivalent alongside them. At checkout you can pay in USD or EUR - invoices are issued in the currency you select and locked to the day's reference rate.

Is the site available in multiple languages?

Yes. Our customer portal and marketplace are translation-ready and currently ship with English, French, Spanish, Greek and Arabic locales, matching the regions served by our Long Beach, Marseille, Piraeus and Perth depots. Additional languages are added on request for enterprise accounts.

Where does Vanta operate?

We operate owned depots in Long Beach (USA), Marseille (France), Piraeus (Greece) and Perth (Australia), and ship to more than 120 countries. Local teams at each hub handle survey, repair and grading against IICL / CW standards.

What certifications do your containers carry?

Every unit sold ships with a valid CSC safety-approval plate, an ISO 6346 identification marking, and a full Certificate of Conformity. Used units also carry a written inspection report against IICL-6 or cargo-worthy standards depending on the grade purchased.

How fast can you deliver a container?

In-stock units leave the depot within one business day of cleared payment. Ocean transit times range from 7-14 days within a continent to 25-45 days for cross-continental lanes. Our shipping estimator gives an instant cost and transit-day range for any route.

Do you buy back or lease containers?

Yes. We buy back used units in cargo-worthy or better condition from customers within reach of our depots, and offer short-term, long-term and one-way leasing with transparent redelivery terms.
